Custom Chandeliers: Designed, Made and Installed for Your Space

Since 2013, Yön Avize (Yon Chandeliers) has designed, manufactured and installed fully custom chandeliers in our own workshop in Samsun, Turkey. We can adapt one of our existing models to your dimensions or design a completely new chandelier around your architectural plans.

Every chandelier we make for mosques, hotels, wedding halls, villas and public buildings is calculated individually according to ceiling height, dome diameter, interior design and lighting needs.

Our custom chandelier design process

  • 1. Site survey and measurements: For large projects we visit the site and check the ceiling, dome and suspension points. For projects abroad we work from architectural drawings and photos.

  • 2. 3D drawing: We prepare a 3D drawing of the chandelier based on your plans and taste and submit it for approval. The number of tiers, diameter, colour and decorative details are finalised at this stage.

  • 3. Approval and production: After approval, production takes place in our own workshop. Standard models take 15–20 days; for custom and large projects the schedule is planned per model.

  • 4. Packaging and shipping: Large chandeliers are shipped disassembled, with numbered parts and protective packaging. We support you with customs and logistics.

  • 5. Installation and after-sales: We recommend installation by our own team, and we provide technical support and spare parts after the sale.

Which spaces do we design chandeliers for?

  • Mosques: Ottoman Quran verse, box-motif and modern mosque chandeliers, from small masjids to large mosques with 12-metre chandeliers.

  • Hotels: Concept chandeliers for lobbies, ballrooms and restaurants.

  • Wedding and event halls: Multi-tier crystal chandeliers for high ceilings.

  • Villas and homes: Made-to-measure models for stairwells and living rooms.

  • Public and commercial buildings: Cultural centres, executive offices and stores.

Materials and craftsmanship

  • The load-bearing frame is made of brass or stainless steel; colours and finishes are chosen for each project.

  • Crystals, laser-cut Quran verse plates and decorative panels are prepared and assembled in our own workshop.

  • We offer long-life LED lighting and E14/E27 sockets, with the light colour chosen to suit the space.

  • All materials and technical specifications are clearly stated in the quotation and sales contract.

How is the chandelier size determined?

  • The diameter is chosen according to the width of the space and the dome. As a practical rule, about 10 bulbs are used per metre of diameter.

  • Tiered chandeliers are usually built in 2+1, 3+1 or 4+1 layouts. For example, a 300 cm, 3+1 mosque chandelier has about 61 bulbs.

  • Hanging height, sight lines and ease of maintenance are considered together.

International projects and export

  • We have designed and installed custom chandeliers in Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Algeria, Belgium, Georgia and other countries, including an 8-metre mosque chandelier in Bahrain and a 12-metre one in Algeria.

  • We communicate in English, Arabic and Turkish and manage drawing, production, shipping and installation as a single partner.
