Mosque Chandeliers: Custom-Made in Turkey, Installed Worldwide

Since 2013, Yön Avize (Yon Chandeliers) has designed, manufactured and installed mosque chandeliers from its workshop in Samsun, Turkey. Beyond mosques across Turkey, we have delivered chandeliers to mosques in Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Algeria and Belgium. Every chandelier is made to measure — matched to the dome diameter, the interior architecture and the expectations of the congregation.

Our mosque chandelier models

  • Ottoman Quran Verse: Classic Ottoman form with laser-cut Quranic verse plates around the rings and crystal ornaments. Built in tiers (2+1, 3+1, 4+1) for large domes.

  • Vision Verse / Vision Motif: A modern profiled frame with verse or motif plates and LED-assisted lighting.

  • Madinah Verse / Madinah Motif: A bolder series with a thicker 16 × 16 cm band and top and bottom covers.

  • Box Verse / Box Motif: A clean, strong look with a box-section band.

  • Zirve and Modern Architectural (LED): Light, high-efficiency models for contemporary mosque architecture.

Size guide: chandelier diameter by dome

The chandelier diameter is usually chosen between about one third and one half of the dome diameter. The bulb count follows the diameter: 10 bulbs per metre of diameter.

  • Single tier: 30, 40, 50, 60, 80 and 100 cm

  • 2+1 (two tiers plus a pendant lamp): 100, 120, 150, 180 and 200 cm

  • 3+1: 200, 300, 400 and 500 cm. A 300 cm 3+1 chandelier, for example, has tiers of 3 m, 2 m and 1 m plus a 30 cm pendant lamp — 61 bulbs in total.

  • Custom sizes: we also build giant chandeliers such as 700 cm 4+1. For the Abdelhamid Ben Badis Mosque in Algeria we made a chandelier 12 metres in diameter.

Materials

Frames are made in brass or stainless steel. Verse and motif plates are laser-cut and backed with acrylic and LED strip. Crystal and glass details are selected per model.
